Ultra Liberal FemNag idiot and aging Harpy Sharon Stone’s second and long overdue sequel has fallen flat at the Box Office. Her steamy Lesbian scenes were cut so a wider audience would see the film. It did no good apparently. The Movie has bombed.

I never thought she was sexy, and considered her a very overrated actress.

“Instead of moving like an enchanting vision of lust, Stone stomps through every scene with the subtlety of a Clydesdale, and her hair looks like it was stolen off a Raggedy Ann doll”
– Willie Waffle, WAFFLEMOVIES.COM

“If you’re trying to reinvigorate the art of the stylish thriller, the movie you come up with needs to be stylish and it needs to be thrilling. Basic Instinct 2, written by Leora Barish and Henry Bean and directed by Michael Caton-Jones, is neither.”
– Stephanie Zacharek, SLATE

“It doesn’t know whether it wants to be a Skin-e-max soft core porno or an episode of a primetime cop drama. It’s unfulfilling as neither and ends up as an awful hybrid: we’ll call it CSI: Cleavageville. I take that back: CSI: Faux Cleavageville.”
– Mike Ward, RICHMOND.COM

“Could be a career-killer of the most combustible variety.”
– Phil Villarreal, ARIZONA DAILY STAR

“There’s nothing erotic or thrilling in this supposed erotic thriller, just a lot of talky filler that leads absolutely nowhere.”
– Joshua Tyler, CINEMABLEND.COM

“An utterly hilarious piece of camp trash that elicited more laughs from me than ‘She’s the Man,’ ‘Larry the Cable Guy’ and ‘Date Movie’ combined.”
– Eric D. Snider, ERICDSNIDER.COM

Hollywood continues to lose money.

They keep putting women in roles they do not belong. Completely WRONG type casting men, then wonder why no one wants to watch their garbage.

Fucking morons. Glad I don’t waste my money on their BS.

Sorry but once a white woman hits 25, her shelf date is over. She gets wrinkles, fat, ugly, face starts turning manly. Ugh. No thanks.

They should have got Jessica Alba to play Sharon Stone’s role.

As a side note, I have a friend who is 34 and quite good with women. In fact he’s been meeting lots of 20 year olds and I’ve had to bitchslap him severely lately cause he’s complaining that they’re young to which I reply, “You say that as if it was a bad thing.” I told him, “It’s CORRECT and RIGHT that you are dating young girls. Do you know what? BECAUSE YOU CAN.”

And that is why we’d rather tap Jessica Alba’s ass than Sharon Stone’s. Because IT’S GOOD, IT’S RIGHT and WE CAN.

Man does not drink milk that as gone sour. Once over 25 the milk is sour.

I dropped cable TV since 2000 because there was so much trash on. I quit going to theaters because of the garbage hollywood is dishing out. What a waste of money and time. You know it’s a sad time when they put out movies like bitch instinct and buttfuck mountain.

It’s silly. Sex and lesbian scenes won’t get people to go watch a movie because I can just put the words “sex lesbian” into google and get all kinds of sex lesbian scenes online, immediately, for free.

So if I want to see lesbians I don’t have to pay $11 and sit through a a bad movie to watch them.

Tsk…what a bad strategy for selling tickets.

So SS’s visionary piece is a huge bomb – color me SO surprised. She seems to think of herself as some modern Aphrodite, but falls on her scary face every time.

Will this make her get over herself? Doubt it very much …

BTW: I wonder if it’s doing well in Europe?

The only good TV is SciFi Friday nights.
StarGate SG1, StarGate Atlantis, and one of my all time faves the new BattleStar Galactica.
Well — CSI is good too

Other than that i watch TV to hear The news.

The rest is mindnumbingly boring.

I will admit that the ads I’ve seen make Stone look sort of sexy, even considering her age. Of course good costuming, good makeup, good hairstyling, good lighting, good camera angles and good editing can make almost ANYONE look sexy. I’m sure Sharon required more maintenance than a stealth bomber to look good for that two hours or so of screen time, but yeah, it looks like they pulled that off.

With that said, will I pay seven perfectly good dollars to see this crapfest? Hell no. I’ll wait to rent the extended version DVD (and with box office numbers like that, it’ll probably only be a few weeks) which will have all the Really Good Parts included. I’ll watch it selectively, skipping through the parts where everybody has clothes on, and fill up the spank tank. I will have paid less money and wasted less time to have gotten the only entertainment value the film really has to offer.

Basic Instinct?

Talk about irony for a movie title.

Basic instinct is for men to mate with young, fertile, healthy females (age range: 15 – 25). Not menopausal or post-menopausal grandmas.

Why do you think if you even stare at a teenage girl too hard the kids will come flying out of her like greased lighting, but you need the effort and resources put into the Apollo moon program to get a 40+ yr old woman pregnant (e.g., fertility drugs, endless miscarriages, etc…).

Why do you think 40+ yr old women pour billions of dollars every year into cosmetics, surgery, fashion, and grooming? To look like 15-25yr old females: the most fertile. Otherwise, who would care about the grandmas?

I like Sharon Stone’s comments about that Hollywood doesn’t want to make movies featuring older women. Sharon: it’s not that Hollywood doesn’t want to make movies featuring older women. It’s that no one will come watch them (except maybe in a horror film – Kathy Bates). Your movie, case-in-point. Studios don’t like to lose money.

You forgot John Doe, and the new season of Doctor Who.
Too bad they canceled John Doe two years ago. I gain more knowledge off what that man spouts in one episode then of the Discovery Channel some days.

STONE TO DIRECT BASIC INSTINCT 3
Post by guy1 on Yesterday at 1:30pm

http://www3.contactmusic.com/news/index50.htm

SHARON STONE will direct BASIC INSTINCT 3 in Britain, the actress has revealed. The blonde star is keen to continue the franchise – following her return as CATHERINE TRAMELL in the recently released sequel – but wants to step behind the camera next time around. Stone, 48, says, “There’s a script for the next part of the story – but I would like to direct it rather than star in it. “It will be filmed in the UK again as the setting is more intense and gritty.”

Why doesn’t this nutjob retire from “performing” & stay home to take care of her two adopted sons? Maybe the novelty of them being lifestyle & fashion accessories is over?

I posted a prediction on Yahoo!Movies before the film was released:

“Fourteen years ago, millions of guys in their 20s and 30s went to theaters to see the original Basic Instinct. And they were all going for the same reason: so they could fantasize about banging Sharon Stone. That audience segment is not going to see this movie.

This movie will be seen largely by two other audience segments: middle aged women, and gay men. And they, too, will all be going for the same reason: so they can fantasize about being Sharon Stone.”
