Banning Tag in School Sign of Deeper Liberal Psychosis
Folks, Elvis has left the building. So has any sign of sanity in our schools. Between Liberal educators and Liberal psychologists (alright I know that’s somewhat redundant), our children are being turned into whiney, oversensitive, uncompetitive lumps of couch potato with minds filled with Leftist mush.
Fox News reports that:
“A Santa Monica elementary school has banned the game of tag, once synonymous with youth and innocence, because they say it creates self-esteem issues among weaker and slower children.
“We had some children who were not playing ‘it’ appropriately. How do you differentiate between those that are playing correctly and those that aren’t?” asked Franklin Elementary School Principal Pat Samarge.
In the school’s weekly newsletter, Samarge told parents that without adult supervision, the game would be banned. The principal said children playing tag suffered both physical and emotional injuries.
“Little kids were coming in and saying ‘I don’t like it.’ [The] children weren’t feeling good about it,” Samarge said.”
Wake up America, think about what these congenital idiots are teaching your kids. Don’t compete, you might hurt someone’s feelings. It’s not fair that some kids are slower than others. If your gifted, you should feel ashamed of yourself. You don’t have to feel bad. THIS IS INSANITY!
Are these educators just stupid or brain damaged? I fear it is neither, rather I believe that they have been brainwashed by their Leftist indoctrination.
It is a basic tenet of Socialist/Communist thought that all people can be made to be equal. It is also one of their most pernicious lies.
For decades now we have been assaulted with the cult of equality. We have been told, by those on the Left, that any differences we witness in our own experience are due to inherent biases in upbringing and environment. “There is no difference between men and women,” we are told, “except those caused by how they have been treated in their upbringing.”
For proof, these idiots point to the fact that in early childhood boys and girls show little difference in ability. Excuse me for saying…DUH! Until puberty, there is little differentiation in the sexes…after…well it’s after that makes all the difference…Thank God!
Life is inherently unfair. It’s a fact of life, get used to it. Until all human beings are cloned from the same person, that is not going to change. Genetics is a game of chance.
Some people are going to be smart, and some are going to be Liberals…err dumb (sorry).
Some are going to be artists and some are going to be musicians. Some kids will grow up with minds that naturally handle numbers and mathematics as thought they were born to it (hint: they were), and to some math is going to be an alien landscape. That’s just the way it is.
And some kids are going to be athletes and some are going to have two left feet. That friends, is the true definition of “diversity.”
Diversity is not some program designed to camouflage or iron out the differences between people, it is a fact of biology which must be understood and accepted. When children are playing tag, they are learning the realities of life.
Only someone profoundly arrogant, or stupid (the two are synonymous) is going to attempt to deny these simple facts.
If children don’t learn to understand and deal with those differences at an early age, they are going to be unable to function in the competitive world in which we live.
If you isolate children from the hardships of life, prevent them form meeting these challenges, how are you going to teach them to compete with children of other nations who grow up in a competitive environment?
The Leftist solution is to eliminate competition by instituting socialist policies in society. One of the most noxious of these is the old “equal pay for equal work” motto of the women’s movement.
“It’s not fair,” they say, “that a truck driver makes more money that a secretary…err administrative assistant” [don’t want to hurt anyone’s feelings here]. “Both sit in the same seat for hours at a time, both use their hands to perform their job while seated [or whatever the logic behind the argument is] so they both should be paid the same.”
Don’t ask people to compete on a level playing field. If you’re black then you get twenty extra points on your college admission boards, if you’re Hispanic, make that ten points, and if you’re Asian-Pacific (yes they actually have renamed it to that, don’t want to hurt anyone’s feelings) then you lose ten points.
The merit of your work is of secondary importance…after all, the Declaration of Independence says “all men are created equal” (even that doesn’t pass muster, too sexist). For the Left, competition is bad. Excellence is bad. Risk is really bad.
As a result, these “educators” tell us tag is too dangerous and too competitive. Our children might get hurt feelings or — Gasp! — break an arm or wrist (I don’t know where they grew up, but broken bones were a right of passage when I was a kid, I had three or four myself).
So in Spokane’s Washington’s Adams Elementary School, Principal Mary Weber has banned dodge ball as too aggressive, ropes game (too much liability), and now tag because Principal Weber says the games were just getting too rough.
The really stupid thing is that there are actually parents who would agree with these idiots.
The biggest myth promulgated by the Left is that self-esteem can be given to someone. Give the poor money so they don’t feel bad about themselves. Don’t make children to compete against each other and none of them will feel bad about themselves. Use outcome based education so children don’t feel bad because they are told their answer is incorrect.
Unionize teachers so that these idiots can’t be fired for stupidity or incompetence (notice even that word has compete in it…evil, evil).
As is stated in a previous post, pay everybody the same, don’t let them compete, isolate them from risk and chance, don’t hurt their feelings. What you end up with is a bunch of effete, bloated, mind numbed, parrots who can’t compete academically, intellectually, physically, and economically with the rest of the world, in short, a Socialist Paradise.
Red-rover anyone?

I’m amazed at how much effort the Government School system throws at “self-esteem.” I remember my child’s Middle School commencement where everybody received an award. Even the kids knew it was BS.
Government Schools are so focused on equal outcomes so nobody gets judged or hurt. The problem with this approach is that in the private sector the only thing that matters is results. When these kids are thrust into the “real world” they go into shock.
In the real world there are winners and losers and we measure the results instead of just effort. The sooner our young people learn this the better able they will be to cope with it.

if I had kids I would send them to private schools(no gov money)…
Coworker’s kid had her 8th grade ‘graduation’ with a whole ceremony and robes and speeches and awards. It’s 8th grade. It was also at a private school. My public school did nothing between 8th and 9th grade (where we transition from middle school to highschool).

I have read, though I have not heard, of recent Gen Y graduates who when they encounter their first taste of The Real World™, are stunned beyond comprehension.
Apparently many of them are able to coast through college without anyone every telling them “No” or “You did this wrong, do it again.” When they encounter their first vicious office politician who feels threatened by their youth and optimism, they really don’t know what to do. They aren’t prepared for when people don’t play nice.
Oh well. They will either learn, or they won’t.

Lee, take a look at this article …
Beverly Hills psychiatrist’s office is an unlikely triage center for the mash-up of generations in the workforce. But Dr. Charles Sophy is seeing the casualties firsthand. Last year, when a 24-year-old salesman at a car dealership didn’t get his yearly bonus because of poor performance, both of his parents showed up at the company’s regional headquarters and sat outside the CEO’s office, refusing to leave until they got a meeting. “Security had to come and escort them out,” Sophy says.
A 22-year-old pharmaceutical employee learned that he was not getting the promotion he had been eyeing. His boss told him he needed to work on his weaknesses first. The Harvard grad had excelled at everything he had ever done, so he was crushed by the news. He told his parents about the performance review, and they were convinced there was some misunderstanding, some way they could fix it, as they’d been able to fix everything before. His mother called the human-resources department the next day. Seventeen times. She left increasingly frustrated messages: “You’re purposely ignoring us”; “you fudged the evaluation”; “you have it in for my son.” She demanded a mediation session with her, her son, his boss, and HR–and got it. At one point, the 22-year-old reprimanded the HR rep for being “rude to my mom.”
The patients on Sophy’s couch aren’t the twentysomethings dealing with their first taste of failure. Nor are they the “helicopter parents.” They’re the traumatized bosses, as well as the 47-year-old woman from HR who has been hassled time and again by her youngest workers and their parents. Now the pharmaceutical company that employs her has her in therapy, and she’s on six-month stress leave.

She’s only under stress because she can’t say “NO!” to these parents. She’s as much at fault for enabling the parents behavior as the parents and kid are.

Last Semester I took a Financial Accounting class again. The last time I did was 10 years ago. With all of the Corporate Governance issues it was time to get current. Anyway there were 3 Women to every Man. The younger Women whined about the Assignments, the tests, the homework, the complex problems. They wanted to be graded on the curve.
All requested 20 points to be added to their test scores, except… yours truly. It pissed off the class. Mr. Khan do you want to be graded on the curve? No Do you want to be given any points to your test? No Do you object to the assignments, complex problem, or homework? Yes its too easy.
You could hear teeth grinding in the classroom. Smart Ass was what I heard from a few of the Women. When he left the room I got a load of BS. My reply was wait until you are in the real world. Real life is tough, grow the Fuck Up you candy asses. There were gasps of shock. I can’t believe you said that. I asked them. Do you want me to repeat it?

Take a $60 community college course for shits and giggles in whatever interests you. Or go tip of the spear with a Sociology or Modern Western Culture studies class. Prepare to stew, laugh and/or be thrown out.

Ahh yes red rover. The good old days when kids were allowed to be kids. Oooh and dodge ball – sorry going down memory lane.
Anyways
This is getting completely out of hand. I remember when I was in primary and elementary school, we were always competing. We had student of the month and year awards, we had science fair awards, we had athletic awards, in sports there were tryouts – not everyone made the team. Now they don’t want to keep score in sports games anymore because it hurts the kids’ feelings – the poor wittle babies
. When I used to play soccer there were times that we won and times that we lost. When we lost were we sad, disappointed, did we shed a few tears? Most likely but we learned how to lose gracefully. Did we practice more and try harder next time? You bet.
Quote:Coworker’s kid had her 8th grade ‘graduation’ with a whole ceremony and robes and speeches and awards. It’s 8th grade. It was also at a private school. My public school did nothing between 8th and 9th grade (where we transition from middle school to highschool).
This happened to me when my parents and I moved to Ontario, I was shocked. I couldn’t see the point of having a graduation in grade 8. I thought and still do think that it is ridiculous. It is getting worse every year. Do you know that parents of this kids get them limousines and they have parties afterward!! People they are in grade 8! Are you friggin nuts!
It is so pathetic.
I know of a kid who couldn’t deal with losing a game of checkers, or any game for that matter. His parents had him believing that he was the best and that he couldn’t lose, so when he did he was unable to cope, he would just burst into tears. He’s better now but can you imagine the damage parents are doing to their children, making them believe they can do and have anything they want and they will never lose. Just wait until they get out on their own, what a wake up call the’re going to get.
Playgrounds aren’t what they used to be either, all the good stuff is gone. I feel sorry for the kids growing up in this era, they are so protected and coddle, its like living in a bubble. They fall down and scrape a knee and it’s the end of the world. I’m glad I was allowed to be a kid.

Oprah the Philanthropist has decided to give her estate to poor African Children began in the 80s with her Pop psychology and the self esteem of Girls being primary to their development (indoctrination into Rad Feminism). This was when the Bull Nuts began. I had no end of arguments with my ex Mrs. Khan over this topic. Achievement is what brings self esteem. That comes from hard work and real achievement. No some faux I am so wonderful self re enforcing delusion.
Boys natural behavior is seen as a Pathology needing correction. Normal Male exuberance and Rough and Tumble Play is seen as future aggression that must be curbed. Or it must be drugged into submission. Boys must deny their biology and be denied their innate nature. This is creating resentment and anger in young Males, some is directed inward and becomes depression. Outward it becomes violent and gangs are a replacement for Fathers and a Male culture now under assault.
We must become alot more militant. Our Gender is at war with the Rad Feminists. And Male casualties are mounting. Finally the dolts at Worldnetdaily.com are starting to get it.
Their editor actually sided with Clara Harris the Adulteress who murdered her Husband while his Daughter rode in her Mercedes pleading with her Step Mother not to kill her Father. Clara Harris is one cold bitch.
Double Standard. Dr. Clara Harris DDS was having an affair herself at the time. She discovered her Husband was cheating on her. In a rage she murdered him and is playing the victim card. I would love to see her hang.

The younger that people learn life isn’t fair, that some people are smarter, others faster, yet even others are naturally good looking – the better off they will be.
Life is cut-throat, even today. When chance presents itself, one cannot hesitate to take action. And action, my friends, is the truest indicator of character. Women are a great indicator, willing to tell you just about anything you want to hear and then fuck you over.
The wake-up call youth gets when it reaches adulthood, and the workforce, is astounding. They realize that it is a dog-eat-dog world. Many learn the hard way that there are 3 main types of people:
1.There are those you can trust, that will not take advantage of the weak, but will endeavor to make them find a path to become stronger.
2.There are others who will use whatever means, stomp on the weak and slow, to achieve power.
3.And the last group will curse those who work harder, who are more naturally gifted, and want to curb other peoples power – i.e. make everyone the same, poor and unhappy shitbags.
These lessons were once taught in school, but are not taught anymore. The last holdout of this type of education was competitive sport, and that is now being slowly banned. Competition at a young age is an astounding education, mostly for boys, but girls can learn from it as well.
I’m glad I work around good people, for the most part. Army Special Operations is no fucking joke, you have to trust those you work with. But we also play hard, competitive sports, to keep an edge. We train hard and play hard, and if we didn’t – the time would come and we couldn’t get the fucking job done.
I’m glad I played tag and dodgeball in school. I’m glad I got into a few fist fights, and learned not to fuck with guys tougher than me. I’m glad my father, who was a preacher, smacked the shit out of me when I mouthed off and broke the rules.
All of that just isn’t possible in this bullshit feminized society. Once I get out of the military, I’m going to focus on fighting another war, one for my fellow men.
