Why Modern, Western Marriage Has Become A Bad Business Decision For Men

If more men viewed life as I do

If more men viewed life as I do
Post by niceguy78 on Jan 21, 2006, 6:09pm

If more men viewed life as I do, I truly believe the USA would fix itself, and damn fast.

I am posting this for two reasons…

1) So other men can see the light, and get themselves to safety.

2) So those who oppose us, can see what they are truly up against.

I decided to take a few minutes out of my day to compose this, I hope it helps out someone.

I view life as constantly trying to build up to a point I no longer have to work. What is the point of having a wife or kids in our modern society, when you will be too busy to ever enjoy it/probably will be divorced and taken for everything to watch another man take your family/live one hell of a rough life just getting by.

I am so focused on myself and life anymore, I do not even think about women (except at how damn pathetic they have become in the USA). How?

1) Focusing on my finances. There are A LOT of problems in life, and most peoples top problem is their finances. Working pay check to pay check just to get by, while supporting their habits and or family. Why not knock this worry out of life. I personally plan to be financially secure by 35. At this point everyday I work for the rest of my life, is only because I WANT TO.

2) Focusing on my health. I eat EXTREMELY health, and work out very hard. I truly believe this helps suppress my sex drive to a very containable point. I am too tired to worry about sex after I work out, before I am focused on the gym, and in between my body fat is so low, my estrogen levels stay low, and I do not crave sex.

Basically as long as I stay on track, in 7 years I will be financially secure, and feel like I am 22. I cannot wait, all my hard work will pay off.

How did I do this?

1) Finances: I keep my mind on my finances everyday. I just work hard, find a 2nd job here and there (better than wasting my time on Ameriskanks), live cheaply (very easy to do) and invest wisely. I got a house, I got real estate, I got mutual funds, on and on. They all slowly build. I keep my bills to a minimum. Live cheaply, spending nothing unless it is necessary. I know soon I will no longer HAVE to work.

In doing this, if I do see a good looking woman I just think “I can’t afford her anyway” as I got better things to do with my money: spend it on ME.

2) My health. I am in no hurry to age. I want to stay young and healthy as long as I can. Once you get used to eating healthy, junk food tastes horrible. Once you start going to the gym and getting results, you cannot stand to miss a day. Soon you literally have to FORCE yourself to take a day off. It is just a matter of a little mental toughness for a few weeks, and you are in a groove.

With both these combined, I am so focused on my future I am able to put women at the very back of my mind. I haven’t had sex in years, and I do not miss it. Why work that hard, only to take unneeded risks? Maybe a little conversation with a female here or there, some flirting, and that is all I need.

If more men viewed life this way, women would have no one to fall back upon. They would clean up their act, or suffer being single. They would learn to dress again (jesus women dress like shit anymore).

Any thoughts/questions?

No, both men and women have both estrogen and testosterone.

Women have very low levels of test (I believe), but I do know men have estrogen. As men add body fat, their estrogen levels go up.

Men who are on steroids and get side effects are not caused by the excess testosterone as much as once they stop using them their test levels drop off, but their estrogen levels remain.

He’s right about fatter people having higher estrogen levels. He’s wrong about estrogen making your libido increase. And testosterone has plenty of side effects: more red blood cells produced, extra body hair, libido increase, anger, shrinking of the testicles.

Much of what he says parallels my experience.

While older ( and I do salute anyone who sorts this all out early in their adult life ) my path is quite similar. In 8 years I’ve gone from significant debt to a growing healthy strong asset position. Man does that put the worries away ! Knowing that you aren’t at anyone else’s
whim just piles on the confidence.

He also struck gold on the health aspect. Like NG78 I’ve found that eating & exercising properly .. guys do some research here to see what works for you as we’re all a bit different .. well, I routinely am assessed at 10 – 15 years younger than I am. But I do lay out the bucks for good supplements and do research research research. There’s some great stuff out there if you figure it out for yourself and ignore the regular media crap and trend o’the month. I will say the technology is now available to maintain yourself that wasn’t even 5 years ago.

Do disagree about the ladies .. I’ll play em nothing serious .. the more I learn the less likely I want anything long term with em.

Soon I’ll reach the point where I can bail and live traveling and interacting ( heh ) with foreign ladies.

newplaya, care to describe your assets? Do you own stocks, real estate, or other stuff?

I’m mainly in some very select stocks. Those will be converted over to other assets, mainly more hard assets in the future.

Learning how markets work, how to spot a long term bull market trend in certain segments, takes time. My main criteria is supply and demand. That would be certain select commodities now.

Time to educate oneself in how markets behave ( eg. to buy on pullbacks and not be emotional ) , to learn self discipline, to learn from mistakes. Nothing like seeing a stock you hung onto for a long time and then sold from frustration become a 5 or 10 bagger.

Actually it’s been fascinating. Learning on the internet — THE way to go — and watching your fortune grow has been one of the best experiences of my life. There’s nothing but upside to this strategy.

When you’re extremely healthy and fit, and your wealth grows .. then waiting out the time to the exit isn’t that much pain at all. It’s now become the pleasure of the journey; this has taken precedence over the end destination. Soon I set sail on the breezes of a sovereign individual.

I’m reluctant to tell anyone what to do cause I’ve found that each persons hereditary makeup supports different diets that work for them. It takes a bit of trial and error.

Probably because some peoples family background may be of sea based diet, or grain based etc. ; there is that diet “imprint” that is inherently better for them.

However, I have tested out a strong repertoire of effective supplements that probably most here are not aware of.

Estrogen causes hysterical behavior, not testosterone. Excess testosterone is converted to estrogen (in people who use steroids).

Nice plan but how do you deal with the jealousy and resentment of others? Many people are hung up on money, entangled in bad relationships, and are jealous of those who are successful even if it was from hard work. I’ve taken plenty of crap from friends for my bodybuilding who can’t seem to understand why I’d rather eat healthy and exercise than eat junk and get drunk every weekend. How do you deal with people who get on your case for building your physique?

NiceGuy, how many calories do you eat everyday? how tall are you? and whats your BF%?

I like being a slightly “bigger” guy. That means eating 4000cals a day, which is unfortunately correlated with a shorter lifespan, but maybe if I quit by age 50 things will be OK.

It does work like crazy. The thing is I truly do not want to get laid. I don’t want to take the risks, so I do all I can to avoid women. But when I go out, I can tell it rubs off, because women of all shapes and sizes gawk at me as I walk by (and I am trying to avoid eye contact).

It is funny, the female mind goes like this…

  1. Doesn’t notice you yet.
  2. Notices there is a tall cute guy right next to her, paying no attention to her at all.
  3. Starts to talk louder to get attention.
  4. Doesn’t work, so she starts flipping her hair, and jiggling her body around.
  5. Tries to act as playful as possible, in good mood as possible, while giving you the “fish eye” look.
  6. After a while she will either then approach/start a conversation, or she will become very quiet and sad (too scared to approach) or she will leave the area.

Fun experiment.

BTW, doesn’t HGH have some wicked side effects, such as brain tumors, and actually making your head grow (like Barry Bonds, and many pro body builders)?

Usually once you tell them, they get mad and ridicule you (typical herd mentality human behavior). Then when they see you are serious and laugh at them, they realize they have no argument and leave you alone.

Often after a few weeks they will come back and even ask for advice.

I just tell them the truth. If they like it, GREAT. If they don’t, it is their own fault. Regardless I am not worried about what they think of me.

But yes, I run into the typical idiot, who thinks I am doing something wrong. Damn funny.

I am 6′3″ with a small frame. I weight between 185 and 210 (depending if I am at the end of a cut or a bulk). I have never gotten my body fat below 10% (with my genetics I would truely have to lose muscle to do so, not worth it IMO).

I do not count my calories, as much as my protein and make sure I eat square meals. I get over 300 grams (and up to 400 grams) a day. I usually eat 8 or 9 meals a day. A simple/good carb source (grain bread, old fashioned oats, sweet potatoes), A protein (tuna, chicken breast, protein shake, beef, etc.) and a source of fat (usually peanuts).

I am 27, so I feel I should keep trying to build. Once I get to my upper 30’s or early 40’s I will step back, evaluate my body, and maybe change to more of a maintenance/life long plan.

Re: If more men viewed life as I do
Post by newplaya on Jan 22, 2006, 3:21pm

For HGH, you want to use just maintenance dosage, about 2100 ng day. Then no side effects . It has to correlate back to when you were younger and your body produced HGH naturally at that level. Crazy to exceed that .. gotta be natural to what your body is designed for.

Also, recommend ingesting oil like olive, hemp ( best most balanced ) etc that has omega 3 & 6 and Gamma Lineolic acid … important We eat all the wrong types of fat ..fat can be good for you too you need it to survive just use the right types.

Use an oil based soap for your skin .. yeah I know wymyn do that , but your skin has err had natural oils .. when they are not present you begin the process of dry skin and wrinkling. Why do that when it’s so easy to fend off .. I don’t understand that in folks .. puzzling.

I think GH should only be used in older men. For a guy like niceguy who is in his 20’s, it would not really be necessary at all. I would personally wait. GH is really expensive too.

This might be somewhat related, but is it worth it for guys to regularly check to see if their testosterone levels are normal? How well does HGH therapy (protropin) work in increasing muscle mass and energy for older guys?
——————————————————————————–
Re: If more men viewed life as I do
Post by newplaya on Jan 22, 2006, 5:13pm

Yeah HGH is definitely for guys late 30’s +

When you start to notice that even exercise is not stopping the physical decay .. that’s the sign !

Best comparison I can give is your body just responds like when you were a young buck. Give it a month or three to work and then you’ll notice the differences. Over a period of several years the gradual ( if you are doing it right .. not OD’ing the stuff ) improvements add up to something significant. No rush . It’s like once you start taking it all the decline stops and then it just gradually reverses back upward.

If you’re just into body building for bulk and you’re young and want to use this .. can’t recommend it , you’re asking for problems.

Okay, this response is a little off the beaten (pun intended) path of this thread, but since you included the above comment:

Masturbating may protect against prostate cancer
Exclusive from New Scientist Print Edition
Douglas Fox, Adelaide

It will make you go blind. It will make your palms grow hairy. Such myths about masturbation are largely a thing of the past. But the latest research has even better news for young men: frequent self-pleasuring could protect against the most common kind of cancer.

A team in Australia led by Graham Giles of The Cancer Council Victoria in Melbourne asked 1079 men with prostate cancer to fill in a questionnaire detailing their sexual habits, and compared their responses with those of 1259 healthy men of the same age. The team concludes that the more men ejaculate between the ages of 20 and 50, the less likely they are to develop prostate cancer.

The protective effect is greatest while men are in their twenties: those who had ejaculated more than five times per week in their twenties, for instance, were one-third less likely to develop aggressive prostate cancer later in life (BJU International, vol 92, p 211).

The results contradict those of previous studies, which have suggested that having had many sexual partners, or a high frequency of sexual activity, increases the risk of prostate cancer by up to 40 per cent. The key difference is that these earlier studies defined sexual activity as sexual intercourse, whereas the latest study focused on the number of ejaculations, whether or not intercourse was involved.

The team speculates that infections caused by intercourse may increase the risk of prostate cancer. “Had we been able to remove ejaculations associated with sexual intercourse, there should have been an even stronger protective effect of other ejaculations,” they suggest. “Men have many ways of using their prostate which do not involve women or other men,” Giles adds.
Macho exaggeration

Giles accepts the possibility that the men who completed the questionnaires could have lied about their habits. But he doubts this skewed the results, since questions about masturbation are unlikely to evoke the same macho exaggeration as questions about, say, number of sexual partners.

But why should ejaculating more often cut the risk of prostate cancer? The team speculates that ejaculation prevents carcinogens building up in the gland. The prostate, together with the seminal vesicles, secretes the bulk of the fluid in semen, which is rich in substances such as potassium, zinc, fructose and citric acid.

Generating the fluid involves concentrating these components from the bloodstream up to 600-fold – and this could be where the trouble starts. Studies in dogs show that carcinogens such as 3-methylcholanthrene, found in cigarette smoke, are also concentrated in prostate fluid.

“It’s a prostatic stagnation hypothesis,” says Giles. “The more you flush the ducts out, the less there is to hang around and damage the cells that line them.”
Sexual repertoire

His findings suggest an intriguing parallel between prostate cancer and breast cancer, as recent studies indicate that lactating reduces a woman’s risk of breast cancer, perhaps because this also flushes out carcinogens. Alternatively, ejaculation might induce prostate cells to mature fully, making them less susceptible to carcinogens.

“All these mechanisms are totally speculative,” cautions breast cancer expert Loren Lipworth of the International Epidemiology Institute in Rockville, Maryland.

But if the finding is confirmed, future health advice from doctors may no longer be restricted to diet and exercise. “Masturbation is part of people’s sexual repertoire,” says Anthony Smith, deputy director of the Australian Research Centre in Sex, Health and Society at La Trobe University in Melbourne.

“If these findings hold up, then it’s perfectly reasonable that men should be encouraged to masturbate,” he says.

Re: If more men viewed life as I do
Post by Me on Jan 22, 2006, 11:19pm

I like your post and your focus on the importance of health, but I think you should rethink you idea of health.

There is really no such thing as being “super healthy.” Health is, well, kinda like being pregnant. Either you have it or you don’t.

If you are in decent shape, your cholesterol is at normal levels, you have no high blood pressure…well, then you are healthy. You are functioning normally, and you are not dead. That is the definition of healthy.

Moreover, working out at the gym for hour upon hour every day does not improve health. It actually tears down your body and shortens life. It actually makes you age quicker.

You should go to the gym for a specific reason; that is to stimulate muscle growth. Going to the gym should be like, well, going to a tanning salon (even though I have never gone). The concept is much the same. You are going to there to apply a specific stressor that will generate an adaptive response from your body.

You can stimulate muscle growth by doing a simple generic workout of the basic compound exercises (bench press, overhead press, pulldowns, rows, squats) for one set each to muscle failure (6-10 reps, until you can’t move the weight anymore). This brief but high-intensity workout will stimulate muscle growth, the same way the brief but high intensity exposure to ultraviolet light at the tanning salon will stimulate the tanning response. Growing muscle is no mystery. The body, really, is just trying to protect itself from a similar future stress when you grow muscle. It wants to be able to handle the weight. The way your skin wants to be able to handle the sun. Biologically, that’s what’s really happening.

Hours in the gym doing a low to moderate intensity workout would be like trying to catch a tan by spending hours outside on a hazy, sunless day, or maybe even just a semi-sunny day. Nothing will really happen.

But spend 20-30 minutes outside a torrid August day in Miami and watch what happens!

And please note that on the other hand, spending hours in the gym doing a high intensity workout is dangerous and actually accelerates aging. Workouts must be intense but BRIEF. I am going at length about this because I don’t want a young man with the right mindset to spend energy moving in the wrong direction. You have seen outside of Matrix when it comes to women. You must now see outside of the Matrix when it comes to exercise, health, and aging.

Doing hour upon hour of high intensity exercise would be like spending hours outside on a torrid August day. You over stimulate. You will get peeling. Sunburn. You wear down your skin and start to look older. Over several years, you may get skin cancer.

Don’t spend hour upon hour at the gym. Contrary to what most people believe, this actually wears down your body.

Do a brief, intense workout as listed above. 1 high intensity set of the five basic exercises. That’s it.

You will feel awesome when you come out of the gym, feeling totally stimulated, not worn down. I feel like I can lift a car after my high intensity workout!

The workout should take 20-30 minutes. Do this once or twice a week.

During your time off, your body will be recovering and growing muscle. And you will be able to work more hours, spend time doing leisurely athletic activity (bike riding, walking, or easy jogging), just reading books, learning, or playing video games, building your life in some fashion, or enjoying life in whatever fashion you wish.

This concept may seem radical, but it is actually true. It may seem unorthodox, and its not what most people do, but it is actually true and the right way to exercise.

Google the words “high intensity training” to learn more about this approach to exercise. And good luck with all!

Me,

Thank you for your advice. To clarify, I feel one can be “super healthy” or what at least I call “super healthy”. By “super healthy” I not only mean I am in good health, but I never get sick. I haven’t had to miss a day work since I graduated college in 2000. Since I kicked my health into high gear 3 years ago, I haven’t been truly sick. I get a cold once a year, it lasts maybe 2 days, and it doesn’t even affect me enough to miss a day in the gym.

I know of HIT training, I know some get good results from it. Being an ectomorph it never appealed to me. I do HIT (in a way) my first 30 minutes are all compound lifts from 2 to 6 reps. But afterwards, I know I will not grow on that alone, and I do a more body building routine to bulk my muscles. I lift 4 days a week, the other 3 days if I am up for it I do my cardio.

I am pretty close to the same regiment of living as niceguy. I work out on average 5 days a week. I’m older however. 33

The gym really helps guys as you wear yourself out to where when you get home you seek only the bed to sleep in or to relax.

Working out works wonders. Your eating habits with this help alot. I don’t eat red meat in general ( i can only consume like beef jerky as i have not had a bad reaction to this but other types i do) and i eat turkey, chicken and fish. I take a protein supplement and i eat on average 5-6 meals a day.
