A casual friend here in St. Louis was married for many years. He is now in his mid-50s. He is the CEO of a big family-owned firm here. Some 14-15 years ago he took on a mistress, that I had dated briefly before I was married. He did not know we had dated, and I never brought it up.
Some time later, he replaced her with a SECOND girl I had dated during that last year before I got married(!)
Two years ago he got a divorce. The second mistress thought he’d marry her, or at least keep her on, but he told her now he was free to date openly. He cut her loose.
Flashback to 2001. I was recently divorced, and met a 36-year-old hottie with the longest legs I’d ever seen. She was going through a divorce from a Muslim, and had 2 kids, 8 and 3. The 3-year-old was a mess, always screaming and throwing tantrums.
We spent some time together but the kids were a big turnoff, then when I kissed her good night, it was like kissing a mannequin. No electricity AT ALL, so I LJBF-ed her. We had mutual friends, so I would run into this girl periodically.
Flash forward to Sept. 2004. The newly-divorced CEO came to my annual summer barbecue with a 30-ish hottie on his arm. Sept. 2005 he’s a no-show for my party.
Two nights ago a friend drops by, who I haven’t talked to in months, who knows the long-legged bad kisser with the Muslim children. She mentions that this woman got married in October. I ask if I know the husband.
She tells me the guy’s name, and it’s my CEO friend!
This I don’t understand. He’s 55-ish, tall and in good shape, and my guess he’s worth at least 10-20 million.
Why does he marry a 40-year-old woman with Muslim children in grade school? He has kids from his first marriage that are late 20s.
We talk about the Marriage Strike, but some men persist…

I am often amused and amazed by this disparity amongst many successful men.
They accrue 10-20 million, are sharp as a tack discussing business, but when it comes to women they have less acumen than a trailer park meth-head with tattoos and a harley.

First of all, there are about 3 million millionaires in the U.S., and there are about 30,000 people in the U.S. that are worth more than 30 million, so while the guy has a very comfortable lifestyle, in no way is he really rich on a RELATIVE basis.
Secondly, given the fact that he’s retired, there isn’t much risk in marrying someone, assuming you have a good pre-nup and no more kids. Thirdly, and most importantly, women in America are fat, ugly, and extremely bitchy, so beggars can’t be choosers.

The percentages are irrelevant, all I’m trying to point out is that rich is 200-300 million at least, 20 million is wealthy and comfortable, but not rich. For example, rich people do not live in “average” or “decent” houses, they live in something at least approaching a mansion. If you look at what a house like that costs in LA, New York, Palm Beach, etc., you’ll find that it’s well over 20 million.

He is a few years older than I am. I am 49 will be 50 next May. He is from that generation of Men who were raised in a culture where “Respectable Men” Married. It was expected. It was the culture we grew up in. Even more so a Man his age. Muslim Women generally make good wives. Their Family is everything to them. It takes priority of Career and everything else. Muslim Feminism will kill Gender Feminism. Muslim Women don’t hate Men.
My two cents is culture is what drives our decisions and our life. The guy is from a Different culture than our current one and has not adapted yet. Also CEOs tend to be Alpha Males not given much to listening to what others think if they disagree with them. That he had two Mistresses says alot. That he let one go also says alot.

I’m surprised as well because I agree he does not NEED to get married and there is really not a point to it…
I think he’s not being honest with himself either..
Her children WILL ALWAYS come first….

Khank: SHE’S not a Muslim, she’s a leggy blonde born here in St. Louis that married an Indian or Pakistani, I forget which, in her mid-20s.
Guestman: What you call “character ethics” were once the unwritten norm. If you were a financially successful man whose wife lost interest in sex, you set up something on the side, kept your mouth shut, and stayed married. My own mother, in her 80s, actually advised me to do this when my own wife lost interest in me.

This is probably the “fish market” effect. When you’re inside the market, you cant smell how horrible things are. You go outside for long enough, then get to the entrance, and you wont want to go back in cause you can now smell it.
This stuff has been beaten down our throats for 30-50 yrs that we should take care of single moms and similar BS, that some men cant help but to absorb that THIS IS JUST HOW THINGS ARE and they feel it’s natural.
Where do the Russian girls with 3 kids want to go? No Russian man will touch/marry a woman with another man’s child(ren). These women are the first ones on the marriage agency lists. AM are known for the willingness to marry single moms.

I have spent some time in Russia and Ukraine.
The men there already know the deal and have bailed out on women there. The women there know that the US is where they have the BEST chance for ENTITLEMENTS, rights, freedom, success, financial independence etc et al.
That is the REAL REASON they all want to got to Germany or America. It’s not because men are HUNG like a Horse or they are better men or lovers. Pure BS….
The word is out that MOST American men are pussies and pay the most for PUSSY. Most Russian men I have talked with feel that American men are pussyfied this way. I agree with them.
Been there done that got the T Shirt know the TRUTH.
The system in America supports women generally and it is UNIVERSALLY known by women to get a K1 Visa is their ticket to LIFESTYLE, WEALTH, SUCCESS, INDEPENDENCE.
They know that if they get the K1 VISA they can eventually dump the guy and get situated another HOST ORGANISM or his BEST FRIEND…

I love the “fish market” analogy. As far as Russian girls with kids — I would have to disagree with you. I personally know 2 Russian men (living in Russia) who married women with children and a third one (also living in Russia) who has a mistress with a kid. Of course the 2 married guys make a lot less than their wives, and the mistress, while she’s nowhere near her boyfriend financially, used to work as a runway model in Paris, and has a seven figure net worth.

Agreed 100%, and this is exactly the reason why you are better off marrying a foreign woman that’s already here legally. Your other option, if you should choose to bring a foreign wife over to the U.S., would be to marry someone with a large family that she loves dearly, and explain to your future wife politely what’s going to happen to her family back in the old country if she tries to pull a stunt like that in the U.S.

That’s truly sad. I can believe it though. I remember during the mail-order-bride documentary, this old bastard was doing the dishes while his new Russian wife (who had 3 kids previous) was going on and on about how all the new “rights” she has are exactly the way it should be.
How come only western men pussied out and went with the feminist system? Why didnt East Eu men buy into it? It has to be more than just financial reasons. You can split “house duties” without having wealth in the country.

Because what we have in the west is not a “feminist system”, it’s simply women creating laws to benefit themselves at men’s expense. The East Europeans under the Soviet Rule had a real feminist system, true equality, and it’s not the men that didn’t like it, it was the women that hated it most.

John, it still doesn’t make it right through a universal ethic, meaning there are universal rights and wrongs throughout humanity. Last time I checked, no one had the right to hurt another person without consequence. Of course, this all could be in vain, he may have had an open marriage for all I know. But if he knew by what he was doing would hurt another, it is wrong. It’s called conscious knowledge.
I always tell my kids, “If so-and-so knew what you were about to do, would it hurt them?” If they say, “yes,” then I tell them, “then you know it is wrong.”
Your friend got divorced eventually and it didn’t kill him. I never understood how people can justify their own behaviors through money and wake up with themselves in the morning. It’s his fault for putting up with it for so long and choosing the easy way out through multiple adultery sessions, versus being a man and ending the marriage right away, in the beginning.
He’ll do it again and get divorced; people like that never change, but always think the grass is greener or they’ve got it figured out. I feel sorry for him.
